KUALA LUMPUR, Jan 4 (Bernama) -- Badminton Association of Malaysia (BAM) today announced Allianz Malaysia Berhad (Allianz Malaysia) as its official financial services partner.
Through the partnership, BAM senior and junior players, as well as coaches are set to receive comprehensive insurance protection when travelling abroad for competitions, while Allianz Malaysia will take on the title sponsor for the Malaysia Super 100 tournament.
BAM acting president Datuk V Subramaniam expressed his enthusiasm about the cooperation, and that they were honored to have Allianz Malaysia to elevate Malaysian badminton.
“Support from corporate leaders like Allianz Malaysia is essential and will significantly contribute to the success of our programmes.
“This partnership will benefit BAM and provide added motivation and encouragement to the players,” he said in a statement today.
Meanwhile, Allianz Malaysia chief executive officer Sean Wang said the company was committed to supporting sports globally through their sponsorship of major sports events, including the Olympics and Paralympics.
“We are excited at the prospect of working with BAM and supporting their various programmes and activities, and particularly delighted to be the title sponsor for the Allianz Malaysia SUPER 100 event later this year,” he said.
