KUALA LUMPUR, Jan 9 (Bernama) -- Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim today received a courtesy call from a Malaysian Islamic Chamber of Commerce (DPIM) delegation led by its president Datuk Mohammad Sahar Mat Din.
The Prime Minister, in a post on the X platform, said during the meeting, they discussed several proposals on economic development initiatives that incorporate the waqf concept and use of artificial intelligence.
Anwar expressed his appreciation for DPIM’s proposals, which are aligned with the government’s hope to see an injection of good ideas and support for the implementation of the Bumiputera Economic Transformation Plan 2035 from industry players such as chambers of commerce and trade.
DPIM was established in 1993 with the aim of uniting Muslim traders and entrepreneurs for the interest and benefit of the Islamic economy.
