MAKKAH, March 7 (Bernama-SPA) -- The General Authority for the Care of the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque has called on visitors to the Grand Mosque to follow awareness guidelines when using the facilities designated for drinking Zamzam water, Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported.
Fully equipped ablution facilities and 20,000 Zamzam water containers have been made available throughout Ramadan to cater to Umrah performers and worshippers.
The authority emphasised the importance of disposing of plastic cups properly in designated areas and advised against opening Zamzam water containers.
The authority also stressed the importance of using designated ablution areas and reserving Zamzam water for drinking only, reinforcing a collective commitment to maintaining the Grand Mosque’s cleanliness and ensuring a tranquil worship environment.
