KUALA LUMPUR, Jan 13 (Bernama) -- Sabah FC’s late-game comeback amidst a spirited fightback were not enough to deny Kelantan The Real Warriors FC a 3-2 victory in their Super League clash at the Sultan Muhammad IV Stadium tonight.

Kelantan The Real Warriors FC opened the scoring as early as the sixth minute through Alexandre Yeoule, who quickly tapped in a rebounded ball after Sabah FC goalkeeper Damien Lim failed to secure an initial strike inside the penalty box.

However, Sabah FC did not wait long to equalise, as Darren Lok clinicaly finished a teammate's cross from the right flank just three minutes later (9' minute).

The home side regained the lead in the 16th minute through a header by Simen Alexander following a scramble in the Sabah FC box, before Asraf Aliffudin added a third goal in the 23rd minute with a calm finish after receiving a long pass inside the penalty area.

Entering the second half, Sabah FC, playing in their blue and white stripes, appeared more aggressive, launching relentless attacks into the home team's defensive zone.

Sabah FC’s second goal finally arrived during stoppage time (90+5') via a penalty converted by import player Ajdin Mujagic after the ball struck a Kelantan player's hand in the box.

Meanwhile, Terengganu FC (TFC) successfully collected three points after a narrow 1-0 win over DPMM FC at the Sultan Mizan Zainal Abidin Stadium (SSMZA).

The first half saw the home side dominate the field, first testing the opponent's goal through a low shot by Mohamad Saiful Jamaluddin that veered slightly to the right in the 11th minute.

The visiting team attempted to counter-attack and had an opportunity to score their first goal, but Miguel Oliveira's 14th-minute attempt was safely gathered by goalkeeper Muhammad Rahadiazli Rahalim.

As the first half neared a scoreless conclusion, the home side stunned DPMM FC with a goal in the 42nd minute by Engku Muhammad Nur Shakir Engku Yacob, following a solo run from midfield.

In the second half, the squad coached by Tengku Hazman Raja Hassan, leading 1-0, nearly added a second in the 52nd minute, but Shervoni Mabatshoev’s attempt was saved by goalkeeper Muhammad Haimie Abdullah Nyaring.
