NAKHON RATCHASIMA, Jan 21 (Bernama) — The national men's 3x3 wheelchair basketball squad presented the Malaysian contingent with its first medal at the 2025 ASEAN Para Games (APG) after winning the bronze medal with a 21-9 victory over Indonesia at Terminal 21 Korat, today.
The victory was achieved by the strong performance of players under Lim Ming Lip, comprising Razali Cantik, Muhammad Azzwar Hassan Assari, Muhammad Roozaimi Johari, Muhammad Hafiz Ramli and Muhammad Atib Zakaria.
The national players displayed high energy and discipline throughout the match as they controlled the tempo of the game before confirming a comfortable victory over their regional opponents.
The bronze medal also gave the Malaysian contingent early confidence in their efforts to achieve the target of 181 medals, including 55 gold medals, set for the biennial games.
