UAE, MALAYSIA STRENGTHEN COOPERATION IN ANTI-CORRUPTION

ABU DHABI, Jan 26 (Bernama-WAM) -- The United Arab Emirates Accountability Authority (UAEAA) has  signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) to strengthen bilateral cooperation between the two countries, Emirates News Agency (WAM) reported.

The MoU aims to enhance cooperation in anti-corruption efforts, promote transparency and integrity, and advancing joint efforts to combat corruption.

The agreement also seeks to strengthen cooperation, promote the exchange of expertise and support good governance frameworks in line with international best practices in anti-corruption.

The move underscores the commitment of the two authorities to advancing international cooperation in accountability, transparency and anti-corruption efforts in both countries.

The agreemend was signed at the UAEAA headquarters in Abu Dhabi during the official visit of MACC Chief Commissioner  Tan Sri Azam Baki, who was received by UAEAA Chairman Humaid Obaid Abu Shibs.
