KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 5 (Bernama) -- Philips Domestic Appliances has introduced its most advanced and versatile Philips Airfryer 5000 Series in Malaysia, marking a new milestone in the kitchen appliance segment.
Philips Domestic Appliances Malaysia Commercial Director Sue-Ann said the new appliance integrates Steam, Airfry and SteamFry functions in a single unit, powered by its trademarked RapidAir™ technology to deliver fast, even and consistent cooking results.
“This is the airfryer that truly elevates home cooking, combining steaming, airfrying and easy cleaning in one, powered by our Rapid Air Technology for consistently great results which are crispy on the outside, juicy and moisture with the added steam function,” she said in a statement, today.
The key features of the airfryer include 7.2-litre capacity which is ideal for families and preparing complete meals in one go; the Rapid Air Technology for fast, even cooking with no burn spots; a Steam function to help retain moisture and nutrients in food; and Fry function for crispy results using little to no oil.
Other features include SteamFry function, combining steam and airfry for optimal texture, taste and food quality, as well as SteamClean self-cleansing function, using steam to loosen grease for effortless cleaning after cooking.
Meanwhile, the company in the same statement said the Philips Airfryer 5000 Series marks a new evolution in home cooking under the concept of ‘elevated meals made simple’.
“With its large capacity, advanced cooking technologies and easy maintenance in one multi-functional appliance from airfrying and steaming to steam-fry and steam-clean, it empowers busy households to prepare healthier, quality meals for the whole family with less time, fewer appliances and greater everyday convenience,” it said.
The Philips Airfryer 5000 Series was officially unveiled at an exclusive media launch in Kuala Lumpur, attended by more than 50 journalists, lifestyle content creators and invited guests.
The launch featured live cooking demonstrations by influencer content creator Shafique Cute and a SteamFry Showdown led by Chef Sarah Huang Benjamin, highlighting the appliance’s versatility, ease of use and consistent performance.
