JOHOR BAHRU, Feb 28 (Bernama) -- The Johor palace has distributed 2,000 packets of bubur lambuk (rice porridge) to residents of Muar and Johor Bahru.
Palace supervisor Faizol Abdullah handed over the packets to district office representatives on Feb 25 and 27, who then distributed them to the asnaf, persons with disabilities, and government agencies.
“The distribution of bubur lambuk forms part of Ramadan activities conducted under the auspices of His Majesty Sultan Ibrahim, King of Malaysia since 2020.
“This programme reflects His Majesty’s concern for the welfare of the people, particularly those in need, while fostering a spirit of togetherness and compassion throughout the month of Ramadan,” said a statement posted on Sultan Ibrahim Sultan Iskandar’s Facebook page today.
