FUKURO MALAYSIA LAUNCHES ROKKU FOOD STORAGE SERIES

KUALA LUMPUR, March 18 (Bernama) -- Fukuro Malaysia has launched the Rokku Food Storage Series, a new range of practical and modern food storage solutions designed for everyday households.

In a statement today, the fast-growing local kitchenware brand said the Rokku range comprises nine stock keeping units (SKUs), consisting of six Clip Lock Containers and three Airlock Canisters, including a 550 ml Clip Lock Container priced at RM9.90.

The company said its products are available in over 1,300 retail outlets nationwide, including major departmental stores, premium grocers, supermarkets and hypermarkets, as well as on its official website.

Designed for daily routines such as meal preparation, leftovers and organised storage, Rokku responds to what Fukuro sees as a persistent “missing middle” in kitchenware, where shoppers seek products that look modern and feel reliable while remaining at an accessible price point.

Fukuro Malaysia co-founder Daryl Lai said the company applies Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG)-style discipline to a category that is often treated as transactional.

“We apply FMCG-style discipline to a category that is often treated as transactional. We plan assortments, manage pricing with consistency, and prioritise retail visibility and availability so when people need good kitchenware, we are already within reach,” he said.

He added that good kitchenware should be functional, well-made and fairly priced, and should not feel like a luxury decision.

“The Rokku Food Storage Series reflects Fukuro’s wider direction as a brand: strong execution, clean design, and practical pricing that supports real household routines. Rather than chasing novelty, Fukuro’s focus is consistency, delivering well-designed essentials that are easy to find where Malaysians already shop,” he said.

Fukuro said as a Malaysian-built brand competing in a category traditionally dominated by international players, it aims to demonstrate that locally built brands can deliver both quality and scale.

Backed by proactive distribution and retail servicing, the company said more than 90,000 Fukuro units reach Malaysian households each month, reflecting growing consumer trust and repeat purchase behaviour.

The Rokku series underscores Fukuro’s commitment to keeping everyday kitchenware accessible rather than aspirational.
