KUALA LUMPUR, March 19 (Bernama) -- Allianz General Insurance Company (Malaysia) Berhad (Allianz General) is raising the bar on personal accident protection by providing an additional 25 per cent coverage to customers who take up Allianz Shield Plus or Allianz Lifestyle Protect policies.
In conjunction with its 25th anniversary this year, Allianz Malaysia is marking the milestone by rewarding customers while reaffirming its commitment to protecting what matters most.
Allianz General Chief Executive Officer Sean Wang said the campaign reflects the company’s appreciation for the continued trust and support from its customers over the past 25 years.
“With this additional 25 per cent coverage, we are empowering our customers with greater financial security and peace of mind, whether in protecting loved ones, managing unexpected events or supporting lifestyle needs,” he said in a statement today.
Under the campaign, Allianz General noted that customers aged 40 and below who purchase a new Allianz Shield Plus policy will receive an immediate 25 per cent Special Bonus on the principal sum insured.
“Existing policyholders who renew their policies and include new individuals aged 40 and below will also be eligible for the 25 per cent Special Bonus for those newly added,” it said.
According to the statement, customers who opt for Lifestyle & Living Benefits will also receive an additional 25 per cent coverage, offering greater support for unexpected events.
“Allianz Shield Plus is a 24/7 worldwide personal accident insurance solution that offers benefits such as up to RM3 million in coverage for accidental death and permanent disablement, as well as cashless hospital admission and discharge benefits for medical expenses arising from accidents,” it said.
Meanwhile, new customers of Allianz Lifestyle Protect policy will receive a 25 per cent extra coverage for selected lifestyle and living benefits, ensuring comprehensive protection tailored to their unique needs and lifestyles.
“Existing policyholders who add new individuals to their Allianz Lifestyle Protect policies will also enjoy the 25 per cent extra coverage for those newly added,” the statement read.
The statement noted that Allianz Lifestyle Protect is an all-in-one insurance solution designed to protect various aspects of daily lifestyle, with benefits including up to RM5,000 coverage for smart devices, RM5,000 for credit card and loan indemnity, and RM1,500 for online purchases.
