PUTRAJAYA, April 22 (Bernama) -- The Ministry of National Unity through the National Library of Malaysia (PNM), today introduced two digital service initiatives, namely the Quickbook2U@PNM system and the Rental Space Booking Management System (QuickKarel), to facilitate public access to reading materials and library facilities.
In a statement, the ministry said the initiatives are in line with the MADANI Government’s aspiration to simplify public dealings, cultivate a knowledge-based society, and enhance access to reading materials and library services.
According to the statement, Quickbook2U@PNM allows users to book books online without having to physically visit the library, while also offering direct delivery to users’ locations.
It said that QuickKarel is a digital platform that enables the public to book rental spaces online in a faster, more systematic and efficient manner.
National Unity Minister Datuk Aaron Ago Dagang said both systems reflect the ministry’s continuous commitment to modernising service delivery to the public, while strengthening digital innovation and expanding access to knowledge and library facilities.
