KUALA LUMPUR, April 30 (Bernama) -- Visitors to the Rain Rave 2026 Water Music Festival, which begins today until Saturday in Bukit Bintang, are urged to comply with the laws and refrain from drug abuse and immoral activities.

Kuala Lumpur Police Chief Datuk Fadil Marsus said visitors are reminded to give their full cooperation and not to bring any prohibited items that violate the law.

Fadil said a total of 500 officers and personnel, including reinforcements from Bukit Aman and all district police headquarters (IPD) in Kuala Lumpur, have been deployed at various strategic locations to maintain public order and ensure the smooth running of the festival.

“So far, the number of visitors is estimated at 7,000, and we expect this figure to exceed 10,000 by midnight,” he said when met by reporters here tonight.

Meanwhile, Fadil also advised the public to plan their journeys in advance due to several road closures around the event venue to facilitate the festival.

“Many roads are closed, so please pay attention to road closure notices and plan your journey. At the same time, please take care of your personal safety if you are visiting the area,” he said.
