KUALA LUMPUR, May 15 (Bernama) -- KAF Investment Funds Bhd (KIFB) has launched the KAF Global Islamic Equity Fund (KGIEF), aimed at providing investors with strategic exposure to Shariah-compliant equities.

In a statement, KIFB said KGIEF is designed for investors seeking broader geographical diversification and exposure to global growth opportunities.

Chief executive officer Mohammad Fariz Ahmad Shamsuddin said diversification remains crucial in a balanced investment strategy amid the evolving global economic landscape.

"KGIEF is designed to help investors to manade domestic risks by advantage of the emerging structural growth themes.

“By providing exposure to global market leaders within a Shariah-compliant framework, we are giving investors access to megatrends such as the digital and green revolutions that are transforming global wealth creation,” he said.

Mohammad Fariz added that KIFB focuses on delivering long-term capital growth through disciplined and high-conviction investments.

KGIEF aims to enhance portfolio growth potential by providing exposure to long-term structural trends shaping the global economy, including artificial intelligence (AI), electric vehicles (EVs), energy transition, software innovation and the evolving global consumer landscape.

The minimum initial investment for this fund is RM1,000, while the minimum additional investments is set at RM100.

Investors can subscribe to the fund online via www.eunittrust.com.my/Home/KAF or any registered unit trust consultant from KIFB or Phillip Mutual Bhd.
