MELAKA, June 21 (Bernama) -- A man who went missing more than two days ago was found in a weak state in a public toilet near Skytrex Adventure Melaka in the Botanical Gardens here today.
Melaka Fire and Rescue Department Public Relations Officer Deputy Fire Supt II Mohd Hafidzatullah Rashid said the man, 34, was found by a passer-by at 3.03 pm, and was sent to Melaka Hospital for further treatment.
"The Fire Department received a call about a missing man on 12.18 pm today and two fire engines from Ayer Keroh Fire and Rescue Station with seven firefighters were dispatched to the location in under a minute.
"The firefighters conducted a search at a resort around the Botanical Gardens,” he said in a statement today.
Meanwhile, Acting Melaka Tengah district police chief Supt Halim Abas said that the victim, who is believed to have a social media account, was reportedly conducting a live broadcast about paranormal activities at a resort at 8.30 pm on June 19 when the broadcast was cut off at 9 pm.
The victim’s friend tried to contact the victim’s phone and sent a Whatsapp message but did not receive any answer before a report about him going missing was lodged.
