KUALA LUMPUR, June 24 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives closed higher today in tandem with the better cash market performance.
The June 2026 contract rose 7.0 points to 1,691.0, July 2026 increased 8.0 points to 1,694.0, September 2026 grew 8.5 points to 1,674.50, and December 2026 gained 5.5 points to 1,673.50.
Turnover increased to 14,824 lots from 11,480 lots on Tuesday, while open interest widened to 45,677 contracts from 43,343 contracts yesterday.
At 5 pm, the FBM KLCI increased 0.13 per cent, or 2.21 points, to 1,682.13 from Tuesday’s close of 1,679.92.
