PUTRAJAYA, July 10 (Bernama) – Tourism, Arts and Culture Deputy Secretary-General (Tourism), Datuk Haslina Abdul Hamid, said the Visit Malaysia 2020 logo and theme song will soon be launched with all tourism product providers and support systems required to be ready to offer a service that is polished.
“More importantly, the products must deliver a unique experience,” she said at the close of the three-day Kuala Lumpur and Putrajaya Inbound Tourism Bootcamp joined by over 40 holiday package and tourism product providers today.
The training they received was aimed at preparing them for Visit Malaysia 2020 and encouraging them to promote local destinations, especially the beautiful landscape and buildings.
Haslina urged them to offer holidays that meet the visitor’s expectations as there have been criticisms by those who have come to Malaysia more than once that shows and packages are not updated.
