MADINAH, July 12 (Bernama) -- Yang di-Pertuan Agong Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah today attended a tea reception with the Malaysian diaspora here.
The King spent about an hour mingling and posing for pictures with some 200 Malaysian haj pilgrims, students and workers while advising them to take care of their health and to drink a lot of water to cope with the current hot weather in Saudi Arabia.
Prince Tengku Amir Nasser Ibni Sultan Abdullah was also in attendance.
Also present were Foreign Minister Datuk Saifuddin Abdullah and Tabung Haji (TH) head of Malaysian haj delegation Datuk Seri Syed Saleh Syed Abdul Rahman.
Sultan Abdullah is here for a special visit to Saudi Arabia from today to July 14 at the invitation of His Majesty King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.
