KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 15 (Bernama) — Petroliam Nasional Bhd (Petronas) has signed an agreement with Salesforce to deploy PETRONAS360, a new customer relationship management platform.
In a statement today, Petronas said the platform offers intelligent pricing and provides recommendations to the sales team with co-packaging solutions for customers, which also provides analytics and insights to enhance the overall management of complex sales contracts.
“The platform will pave the way for Petronas to increase collaboration throughout the enterprise for greater efficiency, deliver innovative and sustainable solutions, as well as tapping into new and adjacent markets to create exponential value,” it said.
Petronas executive vice-president and downstream chief executive officer Datuk Sazali Hamzah said PETRONAS360 would strengthen trust with customers from one common source and advance the company’s offerings towards greater customer-centricity.
“Against the backdrop of rapidly changing consumer habits and shifting energy mix, we are always on the lookout for opportunities to realise greater operational efficiencies, offer personalisation, automation and more to differentiate our offerings,” he said.
Petronas and Salesforce have been working together since 2019 on various digital transformation projects, the first partnership was on the transformation of Petronas’ call centre in Malaysia.
