KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 6 (Bernama) -- The Malaysian Parliament today conveyed its condolences to the family of former Sekijang Member of Parliament (MP) Natrah Ismail, 73, who died last Thursday.
Deputy Speaker Datuk Ramli Mohd Nor conveyed the condolences on behalf of the Parliament and members of the Dewan Rakyat before the start of the Question and Answer session.
“I hope all members of the deceased’s family continue to persevere in facing the situation.
“We pray that Allah SWT will bless her soul and place her among the pious and the righteous,” he said.
Natrah, who was also the Keadilan Wanita Leadership Council member, was the MP for the Sekijang constituency in Johor from 2018 to 2022.
