January 2025 Electoral Roll Open For Review - EC

PUTRAJAYA,  Feb 21  (Bernama) -- The Supplementary Electoral Roll for January 2025 (DPT BLN1/2025) can be reviewed over 30 days from today until March 22, said Election Commission (EC) secretary Datuk Ikmalrudin Ishak.

He said DPT BLN1/2025, which was certified and gazetted today, contains the names of 37,683 Malaysians aged 18 and above who were automatically registered as new voters between Jan 1 and 31, 2024.

“It also contains 9,957 registered voters who changed constituencies and 1,249 voters who changed voting categories or statuses,” he said in a statement today.

He urged citizens aged 18 and above during the period from Jan 1 to 31, 2025, as well as registered voters who have applied to change constituencies or voter categories or statuses, to check their names in the DPT BLN1/2025.

The EC provides five methods for checking the roll, namely via the EC portal at https://www.spr.gov.my or https://mysprsemak.spr.gov.my; the official portals of State Election Offices at http://ppn.spr.gov.my, the online application at https://myspr.spr.gov.my, the MySPR Semak mobile application and the Voter Registration hotline at 03-8892 7218.

If their names are not listed in the DPT BLN1/2025, they may file a claim by completing Form C via the online application at https://myspr.spr.gov.my or by visiting the relevant State Election Office, he said.
