NILAI, Feb 25 (Bernama) -- National junior track cyclist Sawda Hasbullah has won her second gold medal at the 2025 Asian Track Cycling (ATC) Championship after beating South Korean Park Hye Rin 2-0 in the women’s junior sprint final at the National Velodrome here today.
Sawda won her first gold medal in style last Sunday, smashing the Asian women’s junior record for the one-kilometre (km) time trial in the process.
"I missed out on the gold medal in the team and keirin events, so I really tried as hard as i could today in the sprint event.
“Anyway, I’m very satisfied with how I performed at ATC,” she said.
Besides her two gold medals, Sawda also won the silver medal in the women’s team sprint event at the 2025 ATC.
