RUMAH-I PLATFORM OFFERS SOLUTION TO PROPERTY RENTAL MARKET

KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 1 -- Home rental platform, Rumah-i is offering comprehensive property management services, including property listing, property viewing appointments and other related features.

Chief executive officer Bryan Tan said among other things, the platform can help to reduce fraud in home renting processes, as it allows landlords to assess tenant’s credibility.  

In a statement today, he said the home rental platform is the first in the market to use the Electronic Know-Your-Customer (e-KYC) technology such as facial recognition and identity authentication.

e-KYC is a paperless security and verification technology that is used to confirm the identities of the users for any digital transactions.

“We are also the first to implement fingertip signature to replace the conventional way of handwriting signature,” he said, adding that the company will continue to invest in innovations to introduce new tools to serve the market better.

He said Rumah-i is providing a free trial on its digital tenancy service and is offering users a RM99 discount on the Rumah-i digital tenancy service, which can be claimed by typing the promo code “rentwithrumahi”
