TRAVELOKA saw flight searches for overseas destinations on the travel superapp between April and May 2022 recovered to as high as the same period in 2019.

“Overall, international flight issuance has grown by 48 per cent on average since the announcement of border reopening on March 24,” it said in a statement today.

Therefore, Travelooka said it collaborated with its travel superapp partners in the flight, hotel and attraction segments on a “GOverseas: International Travel Fiesta” to offer Malaysians deals of up to RM1,335 off flight tickets, hotels and attractions between May 31 and June 6, 2022.

It added that it would also reward customers with combinable flight coupons of up to RM25 when they participate in its special in-app mission, GOverseas missions, and complete them.

SIME DARBY PROPERTY BHD achieved 100 per cent take-up for its virtual launch of East 57 units in KL East at a price range of RM1.8 million to RM2.8 million.

In a statement today, it said the company held a virtual launch in KL East last weekend and all 57 units of the freehold, three-storey superlink homes were fully snapped up by property buyers in less than a day,  continuing the trend of fast market absorption for the company.

Group managing director Datuk Azmir Merican said that East 57 attracted strong demands even before the launch due to the limited supply of well-designed landed units in the KL East and Melawati area.

“The natural surroundings, larger floorplans and low density of the development appealed strongly to the young, growing families in the area and proved to be exactly what people were looking for,” he said.
