MIGHT, AL-DABBAGH IN COLLABORATION ON POTENTIAL TECHNICAL AND COMMERCIAL PROJECTS

KUALA LUMPUR, March 31 (Bernama) -- The Malaysian Industry-Government Group for High Technology (MIGHT) and the Al-Dabbagh Group (ADG) inked a memorandum of understanding (MOU) recently in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia to work on potential technical and commercial projects.

MIGHT said the collaboration would focus on co-creating a new and robust innovation ecosystem to spur the growth of indigenous technologies and businesses between nations.

“This platform also allows for collaborations in analysis, dialogue, mutual exchange, and innovative activities to fuel productivity and economic prosperity,” MIGHT said in a statement.

“Both parties are committed to promoting the joint development of innovation and technologies between industries and researchers of both countries in food, auto services, housing, packaging, and an incubation portfolio.

“MIGHT and ADG also plan to partner with other Muslim-majority nations to build socioeconomic resilience and industry competitiveness,” it added.

MIGHT FASc joint-chairman (industry) Tan Sri Dr Ahmad Tajuddin Ali said the partnership “is indeed timely, as both parties would work together and share ideas to generate innovative solutions that drive growth.”

“Collaboration and co-creation are key for our nations to stay ahead in this dynamic and competitive innovation playing field,” he added.

“MIGHT and ADG believe collaboration and co-creation could be a significant advantage for companies and industries in fostering creativity and innovation, which will go beyond an intended economic outcome as it impacts inclusiveness and environmental sustainability,” MIGHT said in the statement.
