KUALA LUMPUR, June 14 (Bernama) -- Bursa Malaysia Securities Bhd has issued an unusual market activity (UMA) query to P.I.E. Industrial Bhd following a sharp rise in its share price and trading volume recently.
At lunch break, the company’s share price climbed to 90 sen or 14.54 per cent to RM7.09, with 2.03 million shares changing hands.
“Investors are advised to take note of the company’s reply to the UMA query which will be posted on Bursa Malaysia’s website under the company announcements (section) when making their investment decision,” said Bursa Malaysia in a filing today.
P.I.E Industrial provides major multinational companies with various electronics, telecommunications and computer peripheral products.
