JOHOR BAHRU, June 29 (Bernama) -- UDA Holdings Bhd (UDA) aims to sell 100 units of its Areca Terrace Phase 4B, a two-storey residential project in Bandar UDA Utama here, said group chief financial officer Zahrin Zakaria.
He said the project is in a strategic, sustainable, and rapidly developing neighbourhood, just 10 kilometres from shopping malls, banks, recreation centres and schools.
Representing UDA president and chief executive officer Datuk Mohd Salem Kailany, Zahrin highlighted that the residences are accessible via five main roads and highways, connecting to attractions such as Legoland Malaysia, Puteri Harbour and routes to Singapore.
"This development, offering 325 units, marks the final phase of the two-storey terrace project in Bandar UDA Utama.
"Phase 4 features a modern design and a simple lifestyle, with Phase 4A's 172 units completed and sold out, and Phase 4B to comprise 153 units," Zahrin said at the launch ceremony.
Zahrin said the freehold residences, with a lot size of 20 x 65 feet and a construction area of 1,518 square feet, include four bedrooms, three bathrooms, a porch for two cars and an extended terrace.
Prices start from RM634,086.
"Phase 4B offers spacious and comfortable homes suitable for families, newlyweds, first-time buyers, and those seeking upgrades, in line with UDA's LIFE concept — Legacy, Integrated, Finesse and Enrich," he added.
In conjunction with the launch, UDA partnered with IKEA Tebrau for the IKEA MidSummer Carnival and an exhibition of sample houses with interior decoration sponsored by IKEA Tebrau.
Zahrin expressed optimism about UDA's focus on property development in the southern region, particularly in Johor.
Current projects include Pisonia Ville Package 3 and UDA Heights Phase 1C, both in Bandar UDA Utama.
Additionally, UDA plans to introduce two more real estate products in Johor, namely 21 BizHUB commercial lots with two- and three-storey shops in the same location, and Sedili Residency, featuring one-storey terraced houses in the Kota Tinggi district.
