KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 15 (Bernama) -- Qube Integrated Malaysia Sdn Bhd and the Malaysia External Trade Development Corporation (MATRADE) will provide an exceptional platform for leaders, businesses and innovators to share their insight through the Malaysia-China Summit 2024 (MCS 2024).
Themed ‘Shared Prosperity’, the summit will see a gathering of key figures from government and industries to deepen economic ties and foster effective models for regional growth.
MCS 2024 will focus on critical growth areas such as artificial intelligence (AI), digital technologies, sustainable mobility, regional infrastructure and next-gen manufacturing, aiming to provide sector-specific pathways for shared prosperity.
Qube executive chairman and organising chair of MCS 2024, Richard Teo said the summit marks the 50th anniversary of Malaysia-China relations.
“As the culminating event in a year-long celebration of the 50th anniversary of Malaysia-China relations, MCS 2024 embodies the momentum of strengthened bilateral ties, marked by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim’s milestone visits to China and the visit to Malaysia by China’s Premier Li Qiang in June,” he said in a statement today.
The scale and importance of MCS 2024 are supported by key partners such as AirAsia as Official Airline Partner, Bernama, Star Media Group and Sin Chew Daily as Official Media Partners, and MITEC as Official Venue Partner.
The impressive roster includes Deputy Prime Ministers Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi and Datuk Seri Fadillah Yusof, Minister of Transport Anthony Loke, Minister of Science, Technology and Innovation Chang Lih Kang and Minister of Plantation Industries and Commodities Datuk Seri Johari Abdul Ghani.
Taking place from Dec 17-19, 2024 at the Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre (MITEC) Kuala Lumpur, MCS 2024 is projected to attract thousands of delegates and hundreds of exhibitors from Malaysia, China and ASEAN to showcase innovations and explore new partnerships at the summit’s International Trade and Investment Exposition.

Another side event will be the China-Asia Economic Development Forum which will be organised by the China-Asia Economic Development Association.
To maximise trade and investment outcomes, MCS 2024 will offer pre-arranged business-matching sessions through MATRADE’s International Sourcing Programme, connecting global buyers with Malaysian companies.
