KUALA TERENGGANU, Aug 28 (Bernama) -- The Terengganu branch of the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) is collaborating with the Sultan Mizan Zainal Abidin Polytechnic (PSMZA) in Dungun to organise the Mega Fiesta TVET POLYCC 2025 programme, which began on July 15 and will run until Sept 25.
Its director, Hazrul Shazreen Abd Yazid said the programme, which aims to attract over 30,000 participants, is expected to be entered into the Malaysia Book of Records (MBOR) for 'The Largest Turn Out in a TVET Fair'.
"This Malaysia Book of Records certificate presentation ceremony will be held on Sept 25, 2025, at the Universiti Sultan Zainal Abidin (UniSZA)," he said in a statement today.
Hazrul Shazreen said previously his team organised two anti-corruption programmes as part of the programmes under the Mega Fiesta TVET POLYCC 2025, namely the Anti-Corruption Discussion on Public Funds in 2025 and the Anti-Corruption Diorama Competition, which were held simultaneously at the Terengganu MACC office here yesterday.
The Anti-Corruption Discussion on Public Funds in 2025, attended by over 100 participants, was able to instil awareness of the importance of noble values such as honesty, trustworthiness, and responsibility, which need to be instilled from a young age.
"The Anti-Corruption Diorama Competition, on the other hand, was targeted at Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) students to educate them about the dangers of corruption.
"This programme also encouraged creativity by translating anti-corruption messages through the creation of diorama art, which fosters high anti-corruption awareness among participants and continuously instils a sense of identity," he also said.
He added that 20 diorama creations were successfully produced by the participants and would be used as creative anti-corruption exhibition materials in every Terengganu MACC anti-corruption education activity.
