KUANTAN, April 12 (Bernama) -- Police are seeking public assistance to locate a man who was reported missing since April 9 after he could no longer be contacted upon arriving at the Larkin Bus Terminal in Johor.

Bentong Police chief Supt Zaiham Mohd Kahar said the victim’s wife said that she last met Muhammad Izwan Omar, 27, on Wednesday (April 8) at about 10 pm at the Bentong Rest and Service Area.

“His wife said she last spoke to the victim on Thursday (April 9) at about 8.30 am, when he informed her that he had fallen asleep at the Larkin Bus Terminal. He has not been contactable and has not returned home since then,” he said in a statement today.

Zaiham said Muhammad Izwan has a dark complexion and is about 166 centimetres tall, with a stocky build weighing approximately 107 kilogrammes.

He said the victim was last seen wearing a black sweater and black trousers.

Anyone with information on Muhammad Izwan can come forward to the nearest police station or contact the Bentong Police Headquarters Control Centre (DCC) at 09-2231999.
