PDRM Announces Transfer Of Six Senior Officers

KUALA LUMPUR, May 19 (Bernama) -- The Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) today announced the transfer of six of its senior officers, effective next month. 

Bukit Aman Corporate Communications head ACP Julina Salehuddin said heading the list is Deputy Director (Forensics/Strategic Planning) of the Criminal Investigation Department at Bukit Aman, DCP Datuk Dennis Lim Kwang Keng, who has been appointed as the new Penang police chief effective June 20, with the acting rank of Commissioner of Police (CP). 

She said effective June 22, Johor Bahru Selatan district police chief ACP Raub Selamat will be appointed as the Head of the Department of Internal Security and Public Order (KDNKA) in Terengganu. 

“The reshuffle also involves Terengganu KDNKA chief ACP Azrul Hisham Mohd Shaffei, who will replace Raub as the Johor Bahru Selatan district police chief,” she said in a statement here today. 

She said Bandar Baharu district police chief Supt Syamsul Sinring will be appointed as the Kulim district police chief, while Langkawi Management Division chief DSP Mohamad Sani Mat Ali will be appointed to fill the post of Bandar Baharu district police chief with the acting rank of Superintendent. 

Meanwhile, Klang Selatan Traffic Investigation and Enforcement Division chief DSP Ramzi Mahmudin will be appointed as the Selama district police chief.
