KUALA LUMPUR, June 1 (Bernama) -- Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim congratulated TV3 today on its 42nd anniversary, urging the station to keep championing the voices of the underprivileged and highlighting crucial environmental issues that affect the nation’s future.
In a Facebook post, he also expressed hope that TV3 would continue to uphold the legacy of journalism, broadcasting and media personalities that have shaped its journey as one of the country’s most influential media institutions.
“TV3 has reached the age of 42. More than four decades of existence reflects a wealth of experience that should further mature its principles and strengthen its integrity as a media institution trusted by the people.
“Happy 42nd anniversary to TV3,” he said.
