She said several major projects had been approved, including the installation of solar lights, upgrading of the surau and mosque, and paving works for the Orang Asli village road.
“Public toilets in the jetty area along Jalan Kampung Muhibbah will also be upgraded, with a village landmark to be constructed, the jetty landscape improved, and the Technical Education and Training (TVET) Programme implemented,” she said at the launch of the Kampung Angkat MADANI Programme in the village, here today.
Azalina said each project was planned based on the real needs of the local community, following discussions with residents and stakeholders.
Meanwhile, the Pengerang Member of Parliament said GiatMARA had been appointed as a strategic partner and technical agency for the implementation of the TVET Programme in the village, with an allocation of RM100,000.
She said the programme would focus on skills in motorboat repair and servicing as well as air-conditioning system maintenance.
