KUANTAN, Feb 23 -- Concerned with the plight of flood victims in Pahang, the Malaysian Franchise Association (MFA) and its strategic partners have taken the initiative to provide assistance amounting to RM70,000 to 100 families.
MFA chairman Datuk Dr Radzali Hassan hoped that the corporate social responsibility programme could help ease the burden of flood victims, who were also impacted by COVID-19.
He said MFA had also worked with volunteer teams from Pahang to distribute aid to residents in need since the Movement Control Order (MCO) was still in force.
Apart from the cash and basic necessities, the aid comprised electrical appliances, clothes, furniture as well other essential items, he said in a statement today.
The strategic partners involved were Senheng, LaundryBar, Siti Khadijah, Big Bath, Oldtown White Coffee, Qian Hai International Foundation, Rona, MyPhoto2u, Ar-Rahn, Marrybrown, Smart Reader Kids, Tealive, Meranti Tiga Solution, FR Printing & Apparel, Catzonia, Cosmo Pharmacy, penyetpenyet.com and CIC - Where Leaders Are Born.
