COVID-19: Sarawakians yet to receive vaccination appointments urged to contact division secretariat

KUCHING, Aug 2 -- Sarawakians who have yet to receive an appointment for the first dose of COVID-19 vaccination are urged to contact the secretariat of the disaster management committee in their respective divisions before Aug 5.

The State Disaster Management Committee (JPBN) in a statement today said they can contact the Resident's office, vaccination centre (PPV) or the nearest health clinic.

Sarawak recorded 411 new COVID-19 cases today, with the Kuching district recording the highest number at 144, followed by 94 in Samarahan and the rest in other districts, bringing the tally of cases in the state to 77,717.

Apart from that, JPBN also stated that three clusters were declared as ended, namely Gerigat Cluster in Kabong, Quadruplex Lapan Enam Cluster (Miri) and Jalan Semariang Cluster (Kuching) after there were no new cases involving them in the past 28 days.
