SHAH ALAM, June 22 (Bernama) -- Tengku Permaisuri of Selangor Tengku Permaisuri Norashikin today graced the launch of Avisena Healthcare’s renal care arm, Avisena Renal Care here.
Its services include haemodialysis (HD) and peritoneal dialysis (PD) treatments, pre-dialysis treatment counselling, dietetic services, arteriovenous fistula (AVF) care and pre-transplant work-up (through a collaboration with Hospital Universiti Teknologi MARA).
Avisena Renal Care executive director Dr Rashidi Saidin said it aims to expand to 10 dialysis centres by the end of 2026.
“With all the centres, Avisena Renal Care will accommodate an overall capacity of 170 dialysis chairs for a treatment capacity of up to 1,000 patients," he said in his speech.
