KOTA BHARU, July 23 (Bernama) -- One hundred and fifty veterans of the Malaysian Armed Forces (MAF) have renewed their veteran cards (KV) through services provided by the Department of MAF Veterans Affairs (JHEV) at the Kelantan Aspirasi Keluarga Malaysia (AKM) tour at Sultan Muhammad IV Stadium, here.
Kelantan/Terengganu MAF JHEV director Major Syed Mohd Ifandi Syed Jaafar said the counter will operate from 9 am to 9 pm until tomorrow.
"Within two days, as many as 150 MAF veterans have renewed their KV. Besides that, MAF veterans from several districts in Kelantan such as Pasir Mas and Jeli, and some from Setiu, Terengganu also obtain services from our counter here," he said when met by Bernama, here today.
Syed Mohd Ifandi said in addition to KV renewal service, JHEV also provides other services such as veteran card printing, pension statement printing, business registration in MyVeteranMall, checking unclaimed money and Pingat Jasa Malaysia (PJM) nomination applications.
KV is an MAF veteran verification card that entitles its owner and dependents to receive the facilities and assistance provided.
Kelantan AKM, which is themed Keluarga Malaysia Keluarga Digital opened yesterday until tomorrow, will benefit Keluarga Malaysia in this state with various programmes for the people and digitisation in line with the government's desire to strengthen the country's digitisation.
