KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 5 (Bernama) -- The Yang di-Pertuan Agong, Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri'ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah congratulated national powerlifter Bonnie Bunyau Gustin for winning a gold medal at the 2022 Commonwealth Games in Birmingham.
The Raja Permaisuri Agong, Tunku Hajah Azizah Aminah Maimunah Iskandariah also extended her compliments to the athlete.
The royal couple shared their wishes via Istana Negara official Facebook site today.
Bonnie, the 2019 and 2021 world champion won the gold in the under 72 kilogramme (kg) lightweight category in Birmingham after lifting 220 kg which was also a Games record.
