"During the sessions, the public have the opportunity to see and get a more detailed view of the project through a 3D flythrough video display, an information board and a concept model (scale model) of the project.

"Visitors can evaluate and have the opportunity to provide feedback and suggestions through a QR scan code provided by Selangor MBI," the corporation said in a statement today.

According to the statement, based on the proposed plan of the 188-acre KSSA Project, it will have a world-class stadium that covers 60 percent of the entire project area.

"The remaining 40 percent of the project area is a recreational park and commercial space that aspire to encourage interaction in the community and provide various entrepreneurial opportunities to the youth in Selangor.

"The engagement sessions is an initiative of the Selangor government which aims to ensure transparency in every matter and reflects the state government's continued commitment towards efficient administration and centered on the interests of the general public," said the statement.

It said the sessions were an additional voluntary initiative by the Selangor government and Selangor MBI in an effort to provide the latest information on the KSSA development plan

It added that the relevant public feedback and suggestions will be included in the KSSA development plan, in line with the aspirations of the government and Selangor MBI which are sensitive to the needs of the public.

On July 15 last year, the Selangor government appointed Malaysian Resources Corporation Berhad (MRCB), to carry out the new development of the Shah Alam Stadium and surrounding sports facilities, with cost set at around RM787 million.
