Mynic, The Learning Curve To Promote Digital Education In Sarawak

KUCHING, Oct 5 (Bernama) -- MYNIC Berhad and The Learning Curve today signed a memorandum of understanding to promote digital education and cyber security in Sarawak.

The signing ceremony which was witnessed by the Ministry of Communications and Digital secretary-general Datuk Mohamad Fauzi Md Isa was held at the Borneo Convention Centre Kuching in conjunction with the 27th World Congress on Technology and Innovation and International Digital Economy Conference Sarawak 2023 here.

The MoU was signed by MYNIC Berhad chief executive officer Datuk Hasnul Fadly Hasan and The Learning Curve founder Kenneth Chai.

Chai said The Learning Curve’s role is to guide 50 selected primary schools from Kuching, Padawan and Serian divisions to develop their websites. He said an integrated portal for the schools will also be developed next year.

“They will also be taught to become entrepreneurs through online sales and The Learning Curve will endorse the webmaster position to be filled by students from the schools that we manage,” he said.

Meanwhile, MYNIC Berhad said in a statement said the company sponsors the edu. my domain name for the schools involved in the pilot project, which will be expanded statewide.
