KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 4 (Bernama) -- The Malaysian National News Agency (Bernama) won two awards at the Construction Industry Development Board (CIDB) Construction Media Awards (AMP 2023) here tonight.
Graphic designers Zabariah Iberahim and Abdul Aziz Jamil won third place in the Infographic category with the title ‘Pelan Pembangunan Kampung Baru (Bahagian satu hingga empat)’ and took home RM2,000 cash, a trophy and a certificate.
Assistant editor of the Features Desk Erda Khursyiah Basir won the consolation prize in the Print Media and News Portal category (News and Features) for an article entitled ‘Kesedaran Keselamatan, Kesihatan Pekerjaan Meningkat’ and took home RM1,000 cash, a trophy and a certificate.
The awards were presented by Works Minister Datuk Seri Alexander Nanta Linggi.
Earlier, Nanta in his speech said this year, CIDB received a total of 176 entries for four categories - Print Media and News Portal (News and Features), Broadcasting Media and Online Video (News and Documentaries), Photography and Infographic.
“Held for the sixth year, the event was a collaboration between CIDB and KKR to recognise the significant role played by the media practitioners to raise awareness of the Malaysian government initiatives in the construction industry,” he said.
