KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 27 (Bernama) -- Datuk Seri Siti Nurhaliza and Dayang Nurfaizah are among the two renowned artistes set to rock the stage at the Loop Music Festival on May 11.
Its producer, Rosix Omar, said that these two big names are among the 15 popular singers from various genres such as pop, ballads, R&B and Irama Malaysia who will make the event a success.
Other singers include XPDC, Masdo, Amelina, Insomniacks, Noraniza Idris, Ronnie Hussein, Nadeera Zaini, Aisha Retno, Usop, Sufian Suhaimi, Lucidradi, Disko Santan and Arish Mikael.
“These artistes not only represent their respective eras and genres but also dominate the local music charts, exerting a strong influence on the music industry," he said at a media briefing today.
“Organising music festivals like this has become a growing trend and is increasingly popular,” he said adding that the event is expected to attract music fans who seek to experience both nostalgia and innovation on one stage.
Rosix added that the event, which runs from 2 pm to 11.30 pm, is expected to gather over 11,000 local music fans at the Axiata Arena, Bukit Jalil. Tickets, ranging from RM168 to RM 478, are available on ticket2u.com.
