GUARDIAN LAUNCHES ECO-GARDEN, ITS FIRST SUSTAINABLE OWN BRAND PERSONAL CARE RANGE

KUALA LUMPUR, May 6 (Bernama) -- Pharmacy, health and beauty retail outlet Guardian Malaysia launched its first sustainable own brand personal care range – the guardian Eco-Garden at The Nursery, Taman Tugu in conjunction with Earth Day 2024, recently.

Guardian Malaysia in a statement said the sustainable own brand personal care range products are made from 100 percent certified organic ingredients and sustainable mass-balance palm oil and packaged in 100 percent recyclable bottles.

It said the new Eco-Garden range embraces guardian’s #DoubleTheNatural (pairing of natural ingredients) concept which brings the dual benefits of nature's healing and restorative powers into every home.

Guardian Malaysia Marketing Director Anna Ng said infused with the joy of nature, the Eco-Garden range transforms the bathroom into a tranquil oasis, encapsulating the essence of a serene garden sanctuary.

“Our Eco-Garden range, will help our customers enjoy the magic healing of nature, inspired by botanicals for a sensual cleansing experience at affordable prices. We know that our customers seek clean, natural origin products that are sustainably sourced and produced while using effective ingredients that do not harm our environment.

“The Eco-Range of personal care products meets this customer need at an affordable price point debunking the myth that sustainability means expensive products. They get to choose the natural products that do not harm our mother Earth and yet obtain great value for their money,” she said.

The product line includes seven diverse ranges that cater for specific functional benefits such as macadamia and shea butter which provide ultra-moisture for hair and skin; argan and camellia that help repair and strengthen hair, with ingredients that offer nourishment and rejuvenation; avocado and olive, a perfect remedy for dry and unmanageable hair and skin.

Apart from that, the ranges consist of products that contain ginger and tea tree, functioning as anti-dandruff; bergamot and peppermint for deep cleanse; and aloe vera and chamomile for soothing; also coffee and ginseng that works for hair fall control.

The new Eco-Garden personal care range comprises Shampoos, Conditioners, Hair Oil, Body Wash, Hand Creams, Body Lotion as well as Treatment and is available at all guardian stores and online.   

Earth Day is an annual celebration that is held on April 22, to honour the achievements of the environmental movement and raises awareness of the need to protect Earth's natural resources for future generations.
