KUALA LUMPUR, June 30 (Bernama) -- Universiti Tun Abdul Razak (UNIRAZAK) successfully concluded its inaugural large-scale Career Fair in collaboration with JobStreet by Seek held at The Intermark here from June 28-29.
This event attracted a significant number of students and job seekers eager to connect with potential employers.
The fair featured over 30 prominent companies, including Bank Islam, KPMG, Fraser & Neave (F&N), CPA Australia, Great Eastern Takaful Berhad and RHB Bank, offering more than 500 job and internship opportunities.
UNIRAZAK Director of Students Experience, Muhamad Safwan Zulkifli said UNIRAZAK provided a dynamic platform for participants to explore career prospects and engage directly with leading organisations through networking sessions and on-the-spot interviews.
“We are thrilled to collaborate with JobStreet by Seek Malaysia for this successful career fair. Malaysians of all ages and at varying stages in their career were present, and we hope they benefited from the networking sessions and opportunities available.

The fair included workshops and career counseling sessions, equipping attendees with the necessary tools and knowledge to navigate the job market effectively.
A highlight of the event was a thrilling lucky draw, featuring prizes such as the 10th-generation Apple iPad, adding excitement and celebration to the fair.
The statement highlighted that in light of Malaysia's dynamic job market and increasing job postings on JobStreet by Seek, this collaboration aims to bridge the gap between talent and opportunity.
It added the preference for in-person interactions among many Malaysian job seekers underscores the strategic importance of this partnership.
Additionally, UNIRAZAK announced its upcoming Open Day and Registration Day on July 6 at the UNIRAZAK Main Campus, offering prospective students and their families an opportunity to explore the campus, engage with faculties, and learn about the diverse programmes available.
