KARNIVAL KEBAYA MALAYSIA 2024 SETS NEW FASHION AND CULTURAL STANDARDS

KUALA LUMPUR, July 24 (Bernama) – The recently concluded 2.0 Karnival Kebaya Malaysia 2024, held at Subang Parade has set new standards in celebrating traditional attire and cultural pride, making the event a memorable celebration of Malaysia’s fashion and cultural heritage.

Founder and President of Miss Malaysia Kebaya World, Dr Jason Hee Jee Pin, said the event not only celebrated fashion but also highlighted community empowerment, featuring initiatives supporting neuro-diverse artists, senior citizens, and individuals with Down syndrome.

“The three-day event, which ran from July 19 to 21, was a fusion of culture, fashion, and empowerment, featuring the 5.0 Malaysia Fashion, Modeling, and Pageantry Association (MFMPA) Awards alongside the prestigious Kebaya beauty contests,” he told Bernama. 

During the Gala Kebaya Night event on July 21, Danisha Iman Ariffudin clinched the Miss Malaysia Kebaya title, followed by Putri Noradlina Hairolhizam and Alicia Deol @ Nurul Shah Razzaq Khairul Irwan as first and second runners-up.

Zahra Murodi won the Mrs Malaysia Kebaya title, with Siti Khadijah Sirat and Nur Ain Baharudin emerging as first and second runners-up.

In the Miss Malaysia Teen Kebaya category, Febbiola Rizki Amelia took the top spot, with Dhia Qaseh Shaqira Abdullah and Vicki Chua Sze Ling as first and second runners-up.

Natashaa Navin Kumar was crowned Miss Malaysia Little Kebaya, with Dhaanya Sethi and Reannbelle Lua Zenxi as first and second runners-up.

The Gala Kebaya Night was graced by prominent figures, including former Bernama chairman Datuk Seri Azman Ujang.
