M K Land Celebrates 25th Anniversary With Exciting M K Land Hunt Event

BUKIT MERAH, Aug 12 (Bernama) -- In celebration of its 25th anniversary, M K Land Holdings Berhad (M K Land) hosted the exciting "M K Land Hunt 2024" over the weekend, bringing together media representatives and local authorities for an exciting two-day adventure.

 The event saw the participation of approximately 70 participants from various main media outlets across Malaysia, as well as representatives from local authorities in Ipoh and Petaling Jaya.

The event kicked off with a flag-off ceremony at the M K Land’s Rafflesia Sales Gallery in Damansara Perdana.

Participants embarked on a journey that took them across M K Land’s key development sites, including Damansara Damai, Taman Bunga Raya in Bukit Beruntung, Meru Perdana in Ipoh and Lembah Beriah in Kerian.

The final checkpoint brought them to the serene Bukit Merah Laketown Resort, where they were greeted with a hi-tea upon arrival.

The event's highlight was the "Malam Pesta Muda Mudi" themed gala dinner, graced by the presence of M K Land Executive Chairman Tan Sri Hajah Felina Tan Sri Datuk Dr Haji Mustapha Kamal and her husband Tuan Haji Megat Azhar Hussein.

Also in attendance were key members of the senior management team including Group Chief Operating Officer Ahmad Soalahuddin At-Thani,  Deputy Chief Operating Officer (Corporate Services) Nazri Tumin, and Deputy Chief Operating Officer (Finance, Renewable Energy and Risk) Frankie Chai.

In his welcome speech, M K Land Group Head of Corporate Communications Shahreen Rahim emphasised the importance of this initiative.

"This event is a testament to M K Land’s commitment to strengthening relationships with our key stakeholders, particularly the media and local authorities.

“As we celebrate our 25th anniversary, we are proud to bring everyone together to enjoy a weekend of camaraderie and excitement,” he said.

The evening was enlivened by a performance from the rising star Aruel & The FaSoLa, who performed a selection of evergreen hits from the 60s and 70s, adding a nostalgic touch to the celebration.

The event concluded the following day with a fun time at the Bukit Merah Laketown Resort’s renowned water park, home to Southeast Asia’s only giant wet bubble, offering participants a fun-filled and memorable experience.

This event marks the third celebratory occasion by M K Land to engage with its local community and stakeholders, following the success of the two-day "Groove & Good Grounds" flea market in Damansara Perdana in June and the M K Land Fun Run 2024, which attracted nearly 400 participants in July 2024.

As M K Land marks 25 years of success and innovation, the company remains committed to building lasting relationships and delivering excellence in all its endeavour.
