KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 12 (Bernama) -- Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Fadillah Yusof today wished all youths in the country a Happy International Youth Day 2024, decribing them as important assets, heirs of leadership and pillars of Malaysia's development.
Fadillah, who is also the Minister of Energy Transition and Water Transformation, said the role of youths has always been recognised and many reforms have been made by the government towards ensuring that they become part of an important group in the country, including through Undi18 which has been implemented.
"The voice of the youths is always recognised by the government, and we even listen to the voices of those who also guide the country's policy-making and aspirations. The youth must continue to be strong to face all kinds of challenges and strive to prepare themselves to form a better legacy for the sake of the country.
"If you want to see the future of a country, look at today's young generation. My best wishes for the celebration of the International Youth Day 2024, today,” he said in a Facebook posting in conjunction with the International Youth Day 2024 that is celebrated today.
Meanwhile, Deputy Youth and Sports Minister Adam Adli through his Instagram also wished all Youth in Malaysia a happy International Youth Day 2024.
