SHAH ALAM, Nov 6 (Bernama) -- Applications for the Form 1 intake under Rancangan Khas Pendidikan Kementerian Pendidikan Malaysia - Yayasan Selangor (RKPYS) special education programme for the 2025 session are now open until Nov 19.
Yayasan Selangor, in a statement today, said applicants must achieve Mastery Level (TP) 3 for all subjects in the Classroom-Based Assessment (PBD) for Year 6 in primary school and are attending a Ministry of Education (KPM) primary school or private school registered under KPM, with priority given to rural students.
“Additionally, either the applicant or their mother or father must be a Malaysian citizen born in Selangor or has resided in the state for at least 10 years, with an income of less than RM2,000 per month,” said the foundation.
The completed online application form must be printed and submitted to the Student Affairs Unit of Yayasan Selangor together with the required documents, by hand or by post, before or on Nov 22.
According to Yayasan Selangor, selected students will be offered various facilities, including hostel accommodation, scholarships, tuition classes, academic excellence programmes, self-development and continuous supervision by appointed teachers.
“All eligible Year 6 students in Selangor in the 2024 session are encouraged to apply, subject to the specified terms and placement quota,” the statement read.
Applications can be made online at http://www.yayasanselangor.org.my/ before the closing date on Nov 19.
