MELAKA, Nov 20 (Bernama) -- The National Population and Family Development Board (LPPKN) will enhance and expand the Kasih MADANI Package Module nationwide next year to reach more communities.
LPPKN deputy director-general (Management) Hairil Fadzly Md Akir, said RM20 million from the 2025 Budget has been allocated for the programme and other initiatives to strengthen family values.
"Since its introduction a year ago, we have developed the learning modules, conducted pilot programmes, and trained lead trainers.
"Next year, we will train more participants and work with NGOs and government agencies to bring the Kasih MADANI Package to the community," he said at the 2024 National Family Month celebration in Melaka, officiated by State Women, Family, and Community Development Committee Chairman Datuk Kalsom Nordin.
The Kasih MADANI Package includes the SMARTSTART 2.0 Premarital Programme, Digital Parenting KASIH Programme, KASIH Shelter Camp, and Happy Family KASIH Programme.
These programmes aim to build strong families as the foundation of a harmonious society, aligning with the Malaysia MADANI vision.
They focus on improving family welfare, supporting working mothers, childcare, elderly care, and better parenting practices.
