KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 21 (Bernama) -- The third edition of the Walk The Doc International Documentary Festival that took place here from Nov 19 to 21, is focusing on the theme of ‘Kuala Lumpur Old Charm’.
Walkabout Asia’s co-founder and managing director Nurashikin Zaharuddin said the festival this year aimed to venture into new territories in documentary filmmaking, where Kuala Lumpur was set as the primary subject instead of Langkawi in the previous editions.
“Kuala Lumpur is a good place to explore; there’s just so much to tell about the quaint aspects of the city, from Stadium Merdeka which was also where we held the festival, to the rich cultural presence of Pasar Seni,” she told Bernama when met during Walkabout Asia’s awards ceremony here, tonight.
Also present was Bernama TV chief Nor Hamzeela Md Hambali.
Nurashikin said that the festival, supported by Think City and Bernama TV as a media partner, among others, held workshops and dialogues to create a strong network that cultivates an impactful learning experience.
