Sultan Idris Shah Hospital Launches HSISCare App To Ease Patient Services 

SERDANG, March 5 (Bernama) -- The Sultan Idris Shah Hospital (HSIS) in Serdang has launched HSISCare, a mobile app aimed at helping patients manage appointments, complete self-registration and access personal health records more efficiently. 

With an online check-in feature that works within a 500-metre radius of the hospital, patients can go straight to their clinics without queuing at registration counters, reducing wait times and easing congestion. 

Health director-general Dr Muhammad Radzi Abu Hassan said the app was a significant step in improving the efficiency of healthcare services.

“The Health Ministry fully supports this initiative as it aligns with our vision of providing high-quality, innovative and technology-driven healthcare. 

“HSISCare would definitely help address key challenges in government hospitals, particularly overcrowding,” he said at the launch of the HSISCare app here today. 

Elaborating, Dr Muhammad Radzi said digital technology would improve hospital operations and strengthen public confidence in government healthcare.

“The ability to integrate digital systems with healthcare services ensures we remain at the forefront of healthcare transformation,” he said. 

Meanwhile, HSIS Serdang director Dr Farique Rizal Abdul Hamid said the app would also allow users to view medical appointments for themselves and their dependents. 

“Patients can register their family members under the same application, ensuring better coordination of healthcare services,” he said. 

HSISCare is available for download on Google Play Store and the App Store.
